Formula Student Germany goes global

Dear teams, partners, and friends of FSG,

We are excited to share our latest project with you!

In addition to our main competition in Hockenheim, Germany in 2021, we are exploring the possibility of organizing a fully-driverless electric competition in the USA! To bring this idea to life, we are proud to team up with Waymo.

As a first step, Formula Student Germany and Waymo are hosting a virtual workshop on August 29th and 30th for students from North America and around the globe who already have experience of building driverless vehicles or are interested in developing these skills in the coming years.

Throughout the two days the participants will learn how to approach the challenge through technical deep dives from several top Formula Student teams and gain insights on how to bootstrap an autonomous hardware and software stack. Whereas the first day adresses general driverless topics, the second day will focus on driverless simulations.

Registration opens August 11,2020 at 13:00 PDT / 22:00 CEST and closes August 26,2020 at 13:00 PDT / 22:00 CEST. Please find the schedule and details on how to register at https://fsg.one/20200829. Hurry fast, registration slots are limited!

We look forward to seeing you virtually!
