Officials at work

Next year’s Formula Student Germany (FSG) will offer participating teams an array of new and exciting challenges as well as an even more professional event.

These changes were decided upon by the FSG officials who came together on the 26th and 27th of September for two days of hard work, preparing Formula Student Germany 2010.

After discussing many suggestions and ideas during these two days, the decision was made to offer 78 starting grids once again. The registration procedure will be amended though. Details on which will be explained in the 2010 rules.

As every year, the FSG organizers also used this follow-up meeting to review the course of this year’s event. In particular they discussed the teams’ feedback and possible measures to address their suggestions at next year’s event.

Another key aim of the meeting was to prepare Formula Student Electric (FSE), which next year will be held for the first time ever at the Hockenheimring. 12 cars with electric drive trains will be admitted to take part in the first FSE.

The rules can be downloaded here.
