Fun Event at the Lausitzring

The weekend of October 9 till 11, a fun event at the Lausitzring, Klettwitz, Germany, took place. An event that was especially organized to thank all the volunteers that put so much time, effort and dedication into making Formula Student Germany a success.

Everyone that appeared at Formula Student Germany 2009 in a so-called red or white shirt was invited to come to the Lausitzring with or without his/her Formula Student car. Of course running a Formula Student car requires a team, and thus per participating car four extra team members were allowed to come along. All in all, 14 cars and about 80 participants gathered in the course of Friday in the pitboxes. There was the possibility to try one another’s car(s), and everyone registered for the event was allowed to drive. This way a great weekend of driving was guaranteed for all.
