Continental E/E Architecture Award

As a supplier of brake systems, systems and components for powertrains and chassis, instrumentation, infotainment solutions, vehicle electronics, tires and technical elastomers, Continental contributes enhanced driving safety and global climate protection. Continental is also a competent partner in networked automobile communication.

Electric driven vehicles, like the Formula Student Electric cars, will influence the future of our worldwide mobility. Today Continental participates in these technologies with a huge portfolio of serial products and is supplier of the most electric vehicle manufacturers of the world.

The Continental E/E Architecture Award wants to honour the best young academics for inspiring E/E Architecture solutions.

Procedure

FSE Engineering Design

Scoresheet: During the FSE Engineering (Marquee above pits) the Design Judges ask each FSE team four questions and mark the respective answer.

Final Evaluation: The three teams with the highest ranking will be visited by E/E Architecture Experts on Friday to evaluate details and differences. They can give up to 4 additional points, if the team shows extraordinary competencies. The final ranking will be based on the total score: scoresheet + final evaluation.

Ceremony: During the Awards Ceremony – Part I (Marquee above pits / Friday 21:00 – 22:00) for the FSE team with the highest score from scoresheet + final evaluation will receive the award.
