HARTING Technology Group awards the Most Energy Efficient Car
The HARTING Technology Group is skilled in the fields of electrical, electronic and optical connection, transmission and networking, as well as in manufacturing, mechatronics and software creation. The Group uses these skills to develop customized solutions and products such as connectors for energy and data transmission applications.
Energy efficiency is key to maintaining the degree of mobility we take for granted today for future generations. This is just as true for electric vehicles, because at the end of the day the energy needed to charge your batteries still must be generated some how. And be it from fossil fuels or renewable sources, the amount of energy to our disposal is limited. Therefore, like for Formula Student Combustion, energy efficiency makes up for 10% of a team’s overall score.
The team with the best combination of speed and energy usage will be awarded the Most Energy Efficient Car Award powered by HARTING, during the awards ceremony on Sunday the 8th of August.
