Scrutineering Quiz and Event Handbook 2015 [UPDATE]

The order of the scrutineering queue for FSG 2015 will be determined by means of a scrutineering quiz like in the previous years. The scrutineering quiz will take place on Friday, May 8th, 12:00 CEST, and will be available under the following url: http://scrutineering.formulastudent.de

The scrutineering quiz is similar to the registration quiz and is a combined quiz for FSC and FSE. The Quiz will include questions about the 2015 Rules and the 2015 FSG Event Handbook, which will be published this week. The quiz results will determine scrutineering order and the running order for pit entrance. The quickest team to answer all questions correctly will be the first in line to enter the Hockenheimring paddock and the first in line for scrutineering. Teams that do not participate in the quiz will be sorted by registration order and will be placed at the very end of the Scrutineering queue behind the slowest team to complete the quiz.

The results of the quiz and thus the running order for pit entrance and scrutineering will be published on Tuesday, July 28th, 15:30 CEST at the Ticket Office. Only the team captain and max. 2 other members per team are allowed to enter that area.

Teams will be allowed to enter the pits on Tuesday July 28th between 18:00 and 23:00 CEST. Scrutineering will start on Wednesday, July 29th 9:00 CEST.

The parking situation will be the same as last year. Trucks will have to be parked along side the cross traverse (“Querspange”) of the Hockenheimring circuit. The truck stop will open at the same time of the registration, 15:30 CEST. Please go there directly after registration and have your completed entry pass with you and wait there until you will be announced to enter the area (in order of the quiz results). It is not possible to enter the area through the gate “Einfahrt Hockenheimring”!
When entering the pits on Tuesday, there will be half an hour for each team to unload their truck in front of the pits and then park it next to the cross traverse. There the trucks will be accessible at all times. During and after the event, the teams will have to transport all their equipment between the pits and trucks by foot, since the trucks will not be allowed to enter the pits anymore after unloading on Tuesday.

[UPDATE] The Event Handbook for FSG2015 has been published on the Rules & Important Documents page.
