The last car crossed the finish line – Endurance is over now
Opel Managing Director Demant has a closer look at the students' work
The weather turned out to be very good – just on time for the dynamic events at the Hockenheimring. Even though Saturday was cloudy and didn’t look like a nice weekend, on Sunday the sun was shining during the whole Endurance event.
Team spirit, fairness and friendly cooperation between the teams are the major points of this year’s event. All teams cheered for each other and helped each other in difficult situations. With these little things a unique atmosphere was created on the track as well as on the grandstand.
All teams were also supported by the Managing Director of Adam Opel GmbH. Mr. Hans H. Demant visited the Formula Student Germany, particularly the teams of the technical University of Berlin and Darmstadt which are supported by Opel. Also Mr. Demat took the chance to get an exclusive tour over the Formula Student Germany area and experienced the race directly at the track.
