Registration starts in less than 5 weeks
The registration for the third Formula Student competition in Germany starts in less than five weeks. The event will take place, like last year, at the Hockenheimring from August 6th to 10th, 2008.
To offer as many teams as possible the opportunity to present their concepts, developments and new innovations in comparison to other national and international teams, the number of participating team will be raised to 64 teams.
During the first registration phase, which will be from January 21st to January 30th, 2008 at 1300 CET, 20 international teams will have the chance to pre-register for the FSG08. The registration for all other national and international teams will start on February 1st, 2008 at 1300 CET and ends on April 30th, 2008 at 1300 CET or when all 64 places are fully booked.
The remaining time until the registration starts can be used for preparation towards the competition. For a successful registration all teams have already to be registered at the FSG website. In order to be able to pay the registration fee of EUR 500, which has to be paid within 72 hours, the team has to have a PayPal-Account. The registration procedure for PayPal can take some days, since the account has to be verified. Therefore the PayPal-registration should be done in advanced.
