2011 Registration

The Formula Student Germany 2011 event will be held on Tuesday 2^nd to Sunday 7^th August 2011 at the Hockenheimring, Germany. There will be 78 FSC slots and 30 FSE slots.

In the continuous effort to improve the quality of all the European Formula SAE/Student competitions that are part of the SAE series (Formula Student since 1998, Formula SAE Italy since 2005 and Formula Student Germany since 2010), the Formula SAE/Student World Council agreed to unify the registration process to the official European events.

The registration processes to the Formula SAE/Student competitions within Europe are quite different and this is not going to change overnight. The transition to a unified system requires careful deliberation and, as a result, also some time. The main effort of all the Organising Committees is to make registration to one or more official European competitions as fair and transparent as possible. As a first step, it has been agreed upon to synchronise the registration date for the 2011 events.

Therefore, registration for all European competitions that are part of the SAE series will open on Monday January 17^th, 12:00 CET.

For Formula Student Germany 2011 this means that:

• FSC early registration opens Monday January 10^th, 12:00 CET
  and ends on Sunday January 16^th 12:00 CET
• FSC regular registration opens Monday January 17^th, 12:00 CET
• FSE regular registration opens Monday January 24^th, 12:00 CET

Registration will be in the form of a rules quiz as per last year.
