How to make a correct design and layout of your brake system?

It has been brought to our attention by one of our design judges that there is a very useful paper by prof. K.H. Bill on the complete layout and calculation of the brake system of a Formula Student race car. Here we would like to make the paper available to all Formula Student teams. It is available both in English and German.
